​Chinese (Mandarin) Classes

The benefits of learning a second language have been well established including better cognitive and linguistic abilities and also having a better understanding of another culture. Research has shown that young children tend to pick up a second language much easier and be able to speak with the native accent and intonation. 
With the geographical location of Australia and the growing importance of knowing our neighbours better through their culture and language, Mandarin is  emerging to be a useful and important second language in Australia.

Current classes in Beechworth and surrounds:

Wednesdays: Dederang Primary School - Mandarin class for Preschoolers
​                                                              - Mandarin class for Prep - Year 3
​                                                              - Mandarin class for Year 4 - 6
​                                                              - Mandarin class for adults

​Mondays and Thursdays: Beechworth home studio  - Mandarin class for Upper Primary Students
​                                                                               - Mandarin class for High School Students 

New classes for various age groups can be arranged when there is enough interest.

Individual/Group lessons tailored to your interest (eg. conversation, writing) or project (eg. preparing for a trip to Mandarin speaking areas) can be arranged.
